Christmas Lights Go Green in Ridgely
On Saturday November 19, 2011 the Ridgely Lions Club installed the Christmas Lights and decorations in Ridgely. For over 50 years the Lions club has been involved one way or another in the Ridgely Christmas Decorations. It all started when one of the club’s charter members, Lion Russell Griffith, an electrician by trade, volunteered to take the lead for the project. Lion Russell with the help of his family and Lion’s Club members designed and installed the Christmas lights. This Ridgely tradition continued under Lion Russell’s supervision until he passed away in November 2010. View the rest of this entry…
